Influencer Press built Brandon Dawson’s original press and search foundation in 2023, around the launch of his book Nine Figure Mindset. The campaign included a Times Square billboard takeover for the launch, a press footprint across business and entrepreneurship outlets, and a Google Knowledge Panel built and handed to the client, so that a search for Brandon Dawson returns a credible presence he owns. Dawson is co-founder of 10X Health System and CEO of Cardone Ventures. Cardone Ventures’ executive vice president, Jeremy Gabbard, credits the firm with the Times Square takeover, the connections it opened, and the SEO and credibility foundation the brand was built on.

Background

Brandon Dawson’s record was already documented before Influencer Press began working with him, which is what made him a candidate for a foundation-building engagement rather than a launch from zero. He co-founded Cardone Ventures with Grant Cardone in 2019 and serves as its CEO, and he co-founded the precision-wellness company 10X Health System. In 2016 he exited Audigy Group, the hearing-care business he founded and bootstrapped to roughly $35 million in annual revenue, for a reported $151 million. Earlier in his career he built Sonus, a Warburg Pincus-backed company he listed on the American Stock Exchange in his twenties. In 2023 he published Nine Figure Mindset (Maxwell Leadership, distributed by Simon & Schuster), which reached business-category bestseller status at launch.

The engagement

Influencer Press built the foundational layer of Brandon Dawson’s online presence in 2023, the credibility base his later media campaigns were built on top of. The work was paid-media-led, the way the firm operates by design: a controllable, disclosed foundation rather than a wait-and-see earned-media pitch. The reasoning behind that model is at methodology and transparency. The anchor of the campaign was the launch of Nine Figure Mindset, and the firm built the engagement around making that launch land and making Dawson’s name return a strong, controlled result everywhere a prospect, partner, or journalist would look.

In a recorded breakdown of the engagement, Influencer Press founder Ulyses Osuna described the sequence:

Watch on Instagram

“Brandon Dawson launched his book, Nine Figure Mindset, and people see the launch, the podcast interviews, the billboard in Times Square, done by yours truly. But no one really sees what was already in place before any of that went live. My team at Influencer Press worked with Brandon Dawson, CEO of Cardone Ventures, in the months leading up to that launch. The first thing that we focused on had nothing to do with the launch itself or the book. It was a foundation. So SEO, online credibility, making sure that everywhere people looked, it had Brandon’s name. They found exactly what we wanted them to find. People form opinions about you. If what they find doesn’t match the level of what you’re launching, then the launch has to work twice as hard to overcome that gap. So we close the gap first. Then you build the moment. That’s what strategic PR actually delivers at the highest level. It’s not just coverage, it’s infrastructure, it’s credibility, and of course, access. Build it before the launch ever happens, so when the moment arrives, you’re prepared for it.”

What Influencer Press delivered

The campaign paired a Times Square billboard takeover with a broad press footprint, podcast interviews and introductions, broadcast, and durable search infrastructure. The Times Square billboard takeover was timed to the book launch and became an asset Dawson’s team repurposed into paid social. The press footprint ran across business and entrepreneurship outlets including Success, Benzinga, Haute Living, US Insider, NY Weekly, Influencer Daily, and Mashable, building a consistent indexed presence around the launch, with contributor placements on Forbes Business Council and Fast Company extending the reach. The firm completed podcast interviews on Bluewire and the Ryan Pineda show, and opened introductions and connections to additional hosts that the client credits below. A Morning Blend television segment was produced as part of the campaign. The most durable deliverable was a Google Knowledge Panel, built and transferred to the client, which gives Dawson a first-position, firm-owned result for branded searches.

Outcomes

Cardone Ventures’ executive vice president, Jeremy Gabbard, went on record about the engagement.

“I’ve worked with a lot of PR companies, and there’s a lot of people out there that promise stuff but you don’t actually get what they promised. Influencer Press was the complete opposite. Whatever they said they were going to do, they did, but more importantly, they went above and beyond.”

“Especially when we were launching our new book, Nine Figure Mindset, we did the Times Square takeover. He got us some connections that we didn’t have.”

Gabbard credited the firm with helping the brand “set ourselves up for success for SEO and everything online” and build “massive credibility to the brand,” and said he would recommend Influencer Press to anyone “looking for a good PR company to boost your brand, to give you additional referrals and connections.”

The structural outcome outlasts any single placement: the Knowledge Panel and the indexed footprint mean a search for Brandon Dawson resolves to a controlled, credible presence the client owns, which is the foundation the firm was engaged to build.
